Swimming In a Maze of Blue

So, this outfit is my most recent. I wore it yesterday for work. It's simple but cute and some of the items have been sitting in a bag for weeks now in a basket and everywhere else in my room so...it's about time I wore em'. For this outfit, I wore a light denim blue-jean vest (*) over a teal tank with a black and white-striped flowy, long skirt with my gray cloth Oxfords (*). My accessories included the following-silver, beaded, keyed hoops (that I DIY'd) (*), a silver buckle ring (*), three silver stackable, jewel encrusted rings (*), a silver and turquoise ring (*), a black bangle (*), and a light blue cuff. I edged up this look by adding my signature red lip. Sooooo...what do you think? Sound off in the comments and let me know your thoughts.

Preppy Never Looked So Good...

So, as stated in a previous post, I get my preppy side from my mommy. Hope this outfit makes her proud. For this outfit, I wore a hot pink cardigan over a light pink shirt with a tan and brown argyle-style print and chocolate brown pants. For my accessories, I wore big hot pink hoop earrings (*), a pearl-strand bracelet (*), several gold and pink bracelets (*), a light pink cuff with a peacock print, my pink Hello Kitty watch (*), a khaki-colored cross-shouldered purse/clutch (*), and light brown lace-up shoes with the cutouts. As I stated, I'm not a huge fan of pink, but this outfit was everything when I put it on. They say the best outfits are the unplanned ones, let's see if they're right. It's a Pink (and Gold) World...

Okay, so first let me start by saying I love this outfit (even though I haven't ever been a huge fan of pink). This outfit consisted of things I've already worn on this blog, BUT I remixed them up. For this outfit, I wore a light pink and mauve printed shirt (*) over a navy blue pink, white, and green triangular-print spaghetti-strapped dress (*). I added a tan waist belt to it and for my other accessories, I wore big hot pink hoops (*), a pearl-strand bracelet (*), several black, gold, and pink bangles/bracelets (*), tannish-brown sandals (*), and a khaki-colored cross-shouldered purse/clutch (*). Hope you guys like my recycled/ remixed look. Sound off in the comments and let me know your thoughts.

Okay, so if you follow Old Vintage, by now, you know I loooooovvvveee leopard print with a passion. I have many leopard items in my wardrobe-from accessories, like shoes and scarves, to clothes. This particular outfit features one of those items. For this outfit, I wore a leopard print cardigan over a black and white polka-dot tank (y'all know how I love to mix my prints) over hot pink skinny jeans (*) with my gray cloth Oxfords (*). For my accessories, I wore big pearl earrings (*), black, gold, and pink bangles/bracelets (*), and a khaki-colored cross-shouldered purse/clutch (*). I really loved this outfit because it was comfy and it was fun. It was one of those outfits that really allowed me to express my love for all things fashion. It's a Floral Thing....You'll Catch On

Hello, hello, hello!...Welp,it's time to update the blog and add some posts that I've been meaning to add. Enjoy!!
I've noticed that one of the biggest spring/summer trends is floral prints and so I decided to try my take on it with a birthday present of mine from last year. So for this particular outfit, I wore a short-sleeve black dress that has a blue, green, and pink floral print over a light blue tank with my gray cloth Oxfords (*). For my accessories, I wore my beaded and keyed hoops (*), several big bangles and bracelets (*), a pearl-strand bracelet (*), a silver buckle ring (*), three silver jewel-encrusted stackable rings (*), and a silver and turquoise ring (*). Hope you guys like my take on the floral trend. Sound off in the comment section and let me know your thoughts.

P.S. Here's a quick fashion tip (FIP)- when executing a trend such as the floral trend, that one piece should be the standout piece, trying to add another statement piece (such as a busy shirt) would clash with the floral print which is made to stand out all on it's own. Want an example? Wear a pair of floral shorts or skirt with a plain tank/shirt and jazz it up with accessories. or Wear a floral dress with a blue jean vest and lace-up boots with simple jewelry. or even Wear a simple outfit with a pair of floral-printed shoes to make it pop! Happy floral hunting!!!:)

P.P.S. I'm rocking another fun summer trend-bright nails!! I loved my yellow polish, it was a pop of happy on my fingers. hehe...

Red, White and....Well, You Know the Rest...

the whole outfit...

Hi you guys, long time no see. How have you been? Things have been a little busy for me which is why I haven't blogged in a while but I decided to today. I just wanted to make a quick little outfit post on what I wore for Fourth of July to show my patriotic spirit. I wore a light denim blue jean vest atop a white tank with navy and white swirl-designed sheer pants with my signature red lip. Red, white, and blue; get it? Anyways, for my accessories, I wore diamond studs, my new granite gray eagle necklace, and my strappy granite gray heels. It was a simple but cute way to show my patriotic spirit. I had so much fun on my day off hanging with my mommy, my best friend, and so much more. How was you guys' Fourth? I hope as wonderful as mine......Until then, I'm out....have a great weekend  :)....
